Many events are taking place during the full moon of August, the last of this summer and we have some very interesting proposals for you in Halkidiki and Thessaloniki:
Halkidiki
An evening of poetry and music in Nikiti and Sikia
Two nights of poetry and music are organized for the third consecutive year from the High School of Nikiti.
The first concert will take place in Nikiti, Friday, August 28, at 20.30, in the courtyard of the Historical & Folklore Museum Champion and the second in Sykia, Sunday, August 30, at 20.30 in the courtyard of the old Primary School.
Poetry reading by: Kosmas Fontoukis Eleni Dimopoulos, Vasilis Spyropoulos, Katerina Papakonstantinou and Anna Zisis.
Songs: Zisis Anna and Despina Skentou
Musicians: Despina Skentou (violin), rose Chalkias (guitar - tzouras), Marios Makris (guitar) and Thanos Stavridis (accordion)
Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki
Lizetta Kalimeri sings her songs as well as songs from other Greek composers at the garden of the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki
Note: There is going to be free admission to museum exhibitions on that day from from 16:00 to 20:00. On the same day editions of the Museum will be available with 50% discount.

Folklore and Ethnological Museum of Macedonia Thrace
Giorgis Christodoulou (vocals) and Harris Stavrakakis (accordion) present the musical project "Serenade" in the courtyard of the Folklore Museum.
